The High Torque Calibration Kit includes a transfer standard load cell with display (matched set), screw jack with turning bar and high torque calibration arm assembly eliminating the need for the bulky weights. CLCC Accessory

Closed Loop Cooling Center (CLCC)

Designed to regulate the jacket water temperature and pressure of an engine being tested in an engine dynamometer test cell. The CLCC system uses a heat exchanger (liquid-to-liquid) and temperature sensor to control and monitor the jacket water temperature. The jacket water temperature and pressure are controlled to setpoints selected by the operator that are within the capabilities of the system.

Vibration Dampening Driveshafts

Vibration Dampening Driveshafts provide protection from system-destroying resonant frequencies by isolating the engine and the dynamometer. If the system is allowed to operate at resonance, the vibrations can quickly destroy bearings, bolted joints, instruments, mounts, or other associated equipment, as well as the driveshaft, dynamometer and engine.  This energy, which otherwise could destroy system components, is absorbed by the Vibration Dampening Driveshaft.  Vibration Dampening Driveshafts are customized per your exact Engine and Dynamometer specifications.  Available styles include 1310, 1550 and 1710.

The In-frame Mounting Kit is an accessory for the TD-3100, Portable Engine Dynamometer. Designed primarily for testing engines installed in on-highway vehicles, the In-frame Mounting Kit provides the hardware necessary to install the TD-3100 between the frame rails of the vehicle. This is accomplished by simply removing the SAE flywheel housing adapter, flange drive coupling and hub coupling from the TD-3100 dynamometer and attaching the TD-3100 to the In-frame Mounting Kit. For applications over 1,250 hp (932 kW), Taylor Dynamometer’s large pressurized cooling columns regulate the temperature and coolant pressure of the engines being tested. Analog gauges allow you to monitor temperature and pressure levels during testing.

Small Cooling Column

The gas-leak detecting, pressurized Engine Cooling Column is an inexpensive, reliable, and easy to use engine jacket water cooler. It requires no electrical power or compressed air, only a source of cold water and a floor drain. The cooling column regulates the temperature and coolant pressure of the engine that is being tested. Hose Interconnect Kit

The hose interconnect kits are specially designed for quick connect and disconnect between the engines and Taylor’s Cooling Column and/or Taylor’s Low Temperature Aftercooler. The hoses are secured to the engine cooling water inlet and outlets with the supplied hose quick-disconnect couplings. The quick-disconnect ends are then attached to the Cooling Column’s or Low Temperature Aftercooler’s inlet and outlet hoses. A Wye fitting is available for engines with dual outlet connections.

The Low Temperature Aftercooler (LTA) is designed to regulate the secondary water circuit temperature on engines that use an onboard liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger (other than jacket water) to cool charge air. The X-Y-Z Table is used in various Electric Motor Test Stand requirements. This table allows for adjustment in Y axis (up / down) from 3 to 24 in. (7.6 to 61 cm) and adjustment in Z axis (left / right) from 13.25 to 23 in. (33.6 to 58.4 cm) with a maximum allowable torque of 1,475 ft-lb (2,000 Nm).
