Remanufacturing Services

Taylor Dynamometer has been manufacturing waterbrake dynamometers since the 1930's and we know that eventually even our parts wear. Over the years, Taylor has remanufactured hundreds of dynamometers and restored them to a "like-new" condition.

The Taylor Dynamometer remanufacturing process is based on a "Value-Added Pricing" method. "Value-Added Pricing" means that the customer receives the best price possible and only pays for the parts and services required to restore a dynamometer.

Before Remanufacturing After Remanufacturing
1 year warranty provided on all remanufactured dynamometers

Remanufacturing includes: inspection of all components, cleaning, sandblasting (as required), balancing, factory testing, painting, labor and all required parts.

Upon receipt, the equipment is promptly inspected and a formal quotation provided to the customer. If the customer proceeds with the remanufacturing of the dynamometer, the inspection fee will be credited toward the price of the dynamometer remanufacturing. If the customer declines to have the dynamometer remanufactured, the customer will be invoiced for the inspection, shipping/handling and any parts required for re-assembly.

Standard turn-around time for remanufacturing is 3 to 6 weeks.
