Taylor Dynamometer custom engineers Water Recirculation / Cooling Systems for single test cells or complete test facilities with multiple test cells and multiple heat source requirements. Water systems can be designed with above or below ground bulk water storage for use with a variety of cooling devices.
Taylor Dynamometer designs custom ventilation systems for dynamometer test cells to include test cell temperature and pressure control. Under typical operating conditions, the room temperature can be maintained to within 20 degrees of the outside ambient conditions.
Taylor Dynamometer can design a Hood Style or Closed Exhaust extraction system to meet the unique requirements of your facility. Exhaust Extraction Systems for engine test cells encompass both engine and general test cell air extraction to ensure both proper engine operation and the safety of your personnel. Each facility is different and therefore requires that a system be designed to adapt to the individual building requirements.
The Taylor Dynamometer Test Cell Command Center (TC3) is designed to provide a single point of connection and control for all of your basic test cell support functions.
The TC3 is a stand-alone system that is wall-mounted and consolidates your test cell control requirements, such as water systems and HVAC systems. For complete test cell automation, the TC3 may be connected to our Data Acquisition and Control System. Operators are able to command devices through the TC3 and never leave the comfort and safety of the control room.
Taylor Dynamometer’s Water Treatment and Filtration System is a synergistic, self-contained, chemical-free system for the treatment of water. The system is stand-alone equipment that includes a circulation pump separate from the water recirculation/cooling system. The water treatment and filtration system does not interfere with the operation of your cooling tower.
