Driveshaft and Coupling Guards

Taylor's driveshaft and coupling guards are an essential safety feature for any engine test cell. The Taylor Guard is available in a variety of centerline heights, is hinged with lock pins on both sides for access from either direction and can include an optional sliding cover for flywheel and driveshaft inspection.

Sub-Base Kits

Taylor offers Sub-Base Kits for use with all engine dynamometers. The Sub-Base Kits are available with either a 28" (711 mm) or 31.5" (800 mm) center line height. A Taylor made Sub-Base Kit eliminates the need for a concrete pedestal and serves to greatly simplify the installation of a dynamometer. Custom Sub-Bases are available.

The Test Stand and Driveshaft Guard are optional items for the M2 small engine dynamometer. The Test Stand is designed to provide a stable platform for mounting and testing the engines. This common platform makes for a test system that is simple and proven. The M2 Driveshaft Guard is designed to mount to the Test Stand as an integral component.
