DP Series

The DP60K engine dynamometer is designed for any high torque application in low RPM conditions. Taylor’s DP60K has a maximum capacity of 13709 HP (10223 kW) with a maximum RPM of 1200.

The DP60K utilizes a tilt vane style rotor and stator to provide for a very compact, low inertia, low RPM , high torque dynamometer that uses a minimum of floor space. Typical applications would include large marine engine manufacturers, service facilities and shipyards all of which require a system to test the completed engines prior to installation.
