AC Engine Dynamometer

Taylor's DA Series AC engine dynos include four different standard models with capacities ranging from 50 hp up to 900 hp. The DA series utilizes state of the art AC motor and drive capabilities to provide a very capable series of AC engine dynamometers. These units are designed to be used in rough operating conditions and to operate with a modern frequency converter. The square frame design used for most of the models and the high overload capacity allow to these dynamometers an excellent dynamic response due to the low moment of inertia and high pulse torque. Each DA series engine dynamometer is equipped with a positioning encoder.

The compact design allows us to provide a package using as little of your valuable floor space as possible. The DA series of engine dynamometers operate in either direction of rotation at speeds up to 10,000 rpm.
