Electronic Engine Interface OBD-II and J1939

With this accessory installed, DynPro communicates with electronic engines using either the OBD-II or J1939 bus protocols. The Electronic Engine Interface for OBD-II and J1939 is only available for DynPro 6 and newer systems and cannot be used in systems where the Heavy-Duty Electronic Engine Interface (J1708/J1939) is installed. The Electronic Engine Interface for OBD-II and J1939 is optional for engine dynamometer and chassis dynamometer applications. When this item is selected for a chassis dynamometer application, it replaces the standard Heavy-Duty Electronic Engine Interface (J1708/J1939).
