Eddy Current Chassis Dyno | Air Cooled Eddy Current Chassis Dynamometer | Chassis Dyno
Taylor Dynamometer has been making chassis dynamometers since the 1960's. Taylor Dynamometer's line of air-cooled eddy current style chassis dynamometers accommodates continuous vehicle power ranges from 50hp to 622hp (37kW to 464kW), single or tandem axle trucks and buses and axle spreads from 40in to 60in (1219 to 1524 mm) tandem centers. Taylor's chassis dynamometers allow a top speed of 120mph (193km/h) with a top recommended speed of 80mph (129km/h) at full load. As with all our chassis dynamometers, the air-cooled eddy current chassis dynamometers are designed for use in the medium to heavy-duty vehicle markets. Simply put, we design these systems to test vehicles ranging from single-axle diesel pickup trucks, RV's and buses up through the largest tandem axle on-highway trucks and buses.
Taylor Dynamometer offers three (3) standard air-cooled eddy current style chassis dynamometer models. The standard models cover most on-highway single and tandem axle truck and bus configurations. We have designed these units to fit into older Taylor model CM51 waterbrake style pits.

Taylor's data acquisition and dynamometer control system is DynPro. DynPro works equally well with waterbrake style dynamometers, eddy current dynamometers, DC dynamometers and AC dynamometers.
